Yamaha Corporation (hereinafter, Yamaha) develops and provides Music Utility Apps to help instrumentalists create a more comfortable environment for playing, both before performances and during practice. As part of this initiative, starting in March, Yamaha launched the “Guitar Tuner” app, which allows easy tuning on a smartphone, and the “METRONOME” app, which can be used for practicing a wide range of instruments.

“With the launch of Guitar Tuner and METRONOME, we aim to support musicians at every stage of their playing journey―from beginners taking their first steps to experienced players refining their performance,” said Shoji Mita, senior general manager of the Music Connect Division. “By making high-quality, easy-to-use tools available on smartphones, we hope to encourage more frequent practice and deepen everyday engagement with music.”
