Principal Trompete na Orquestra Sinfónica Portuguesa. É também o primeiro trompete no Grupo de Metais do Seixal, lugar que ocupa desde 2001, dentro deste grupo, foi membro organizador do XIII e XIV Masterclasses do Seixal, sendo intervenientes os mais prestigiados músicos de metais do Mundo.

O principal objectivo deste Quarteto prende-se com o despertar de sensibilidades, procurando promover o gosto por este instrumento, tentando desta forma, criar alguma interactividade com o público, tanto pelo repertório diversificado que executa como pela inigualável capacidade tímbrica e sonora que caracteriza um quarteto de saxofones.

Formed in 1999, The Artemsax Saxophone Quartet comprises João Pedro Silva on soprano saxophone, João Pedro Cordeiro on alto, Rui Costa on tenor and Hugo Gaito on baritone.

Eric Aubier entered Maurice Andre's class at the CNSM of Paris at the age of 14 where he was the youngest graduate at the time earning three first prizes. Later, he studied piano and took harmony classes with Pierre Lantier, completing his education.

Professor of Saxophone for the Royal Marines, Simon Bates is known and respected for his stylistic versatility and instrumental prowess. Musical Director for Rick Astley’s re-launch tour in September, Simon is in great demand on the London jazz and session scene - his playing features on countless adverts, film scores, TV theme tunes and pop records. Simon has appeared live and recorded with a wide variety of bands and musicians including Elvis Costello, Lulu, Billy Ocean, Rick Wakeman, D:Ream, Chaka Khan, Emma Bunton, Seal and Peter Erskine. He has performed around the world in a wide variety of settings from the Q.E.2. and Eiffel Tower to Ronnie Scotts and the Jazz Cafe.

Markus Bebek was born in 1975 in Nürnberg, and studied from 1998 with Prof. Günther Beetz at the Musikhochschule Mannheim. Here he obtained his Diploma in 2004 and a 'Solist Diploma' in 2006. Presently he is Assistant Principal Trumpet at the “Opern- und Museumsorchester Frankfurt/Main” which is well-known as one of the best opera orchestras in Germany.

Without a doubt, the Belgium trumpeter, Jeroen Berwaerts, is one of the most interesting musicians of the young musical generation.

Dave Bishop began playing the recorder at 7 years of age, moving to the saxophone aged 10. At 11, Dave joined his first big band before joining the National Youth Jazz Orchestra at 13 where he enjoyed 11 years recording and performing throughout the World.

REKKENZE - the name of an old slavic village in 1135. Todays town of „Hof“ (in Bavaria, Germany) was founded on the soil of this village.

REKKENZE BRASS – is a Brass quintett that was founded 843 years later by some members of the Hof Philharmonic Orchestra and that gained an enormous international reputation since then. Since the very beginning, it was the members wish to show the transparent borders in between the different styles of music by presenting a wide range repertoire of arrangements and original compositions. Their charming and happy performance created the term of “Brasszination”.

Born in Barking 26 years ago, YolanDa started to study her passion early on. At six, she was regularly seated at the piano, going diligently through the keys until she understood it intrinsically.
